Muskingum Names Adam Biehl Head Strength and Conditioning Coach
The Muskingum University Athletic Department is proud to announce the hiring of Adam Biehl as head strength and conditioning coach.
The Muskingum University Athletic Department is proud to announce the hiring of Adam Biehl as head strength and conditioning coach. Biehl brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Fighting Muskies, having spent the past 15 years developing and leading strength programs at the collegiate, international, and high school levels.
Biehl most recently served as the Head Strength Coach at Dublin Jerome High School, where he managed year-round training for over 500 student-athletes. Prior to that, he spent four years at the University of Texas at Dallas as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, working with multiple teams including soccer, baseball, cross country, and track & field.

"Adam brings a wealth of professional experience and a proven track record of positively impacting athletes across various levels. I am truly excited to see him lead our athletes through purposeful programming designed to foster both physical and mental growth, helping them excel phsyically and mentally. We welcome him and his family to our Muskingum community."
His impressive resume includes key roles at the University of Texas–Permian Basin (UTPB), Tarleton State University, Gardner-Webb, Coastal Carolina, and international experience with the Chinese Olympic Committee. While at UTPB, Biehl was the university's first certified strength coach and helped build the athletic performance program from the ground up, including designing the school's first-ever training facility and aiding in the development of its football program.
A Master Strength and Conditioning Coach certified through the CSCCa, Biehl also holds certifications from USA Weightlifting, Totten Training, and the American Heart Association. He earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science from Miami University and a master's degree in kinesiology (sports physiology) from Texas A&M University.
At Muskingum, Biehl will lead all facets of the strength and conditioning program, developing sport-specific training plans, enhancing injury prevention strategies, and working closely with coaches, athletic trainers, and student-athletes.
